When i died part of my hair pink the pink faded so fast why?????

If you did not use a color protector shampoo--and they make them, your color would just rinse out. Check out the color shampoos and products---even at Walmart-- they have a great selection and for pink-- I would use a product for blondes...and I use John Freida and it keeps my color looking fresh for months.

it might help if you bleach the section of hair your dying pink, so itll show up better %26amp; possible show longer.

you could have used a semi-permanent dye?

%26amp; dont forget after you dye your hair, to help the color stay rich %26amp; last you should not shampoo it for atleast 30 hours. you can rinse %26amp; condition but do not shampoo.

Go to the salon and get it done. Don't do it yourself. You will end up with bad results.

probably because you're a brunette.. depending on what natural color hair you have, other colors may last or fade at different rates. also, depending on how often you were in the sunlight. try using a different brand next time.

Pink is just like red, it fades faster than any other color, if you don't use color protector shampoo [and wash your hair too often to begin with], things fade. Get spray dye to refresh it. [Oh, and heat processing makes hair more vibrant and long-lasting.]

even if u bleach the section of hair that is going to be dyed pink, it will not last long. anything that is dyed red or pink has a tendency to last only for a few weeks. it all has to do with the products you use in your hair.

- use only color-treatment shampoo and conditioner.

***professional colorist tip, it will prolong your color =

wash hair every other day and rinse/condition every day....shampoo strips the hair even if you use the color-treatment type***

- avoid any thick creamed/gel products
