Bleaching It Blonde To Go Pink?
First of all you dont need it to be pure blonde for your pink to take
So if your bleach it and it goes to orange thats fine...the pink will cover it...TRUST ME! I had streaks put though that only lifted to oange then bright pink put on.
That way as soon as your pink starts washing out just top up your pink.
If you do however want to be pure blonde when the pink starts washing out you may have a problem.
Your hair may not lift that light or the last bits of pink may not wash out for a long time and you'll be a "pinky blonde" colour.
As for blonde to brown
If your blonde is pure blonde....
You need to pre pigment it first, this means getting some of the warmth put back first. Brown is an ash colour (cool as opposed to warm) blonde is ash too. Ash ontop of ash = green. Were not talking incredible hulk here, but it can leave you with a khaki brown colour.
Either dye it red first, then brown on top, or use a warm brown.
On hair dye boxes there is usually a number such as 4.64 or similar next to the colour name.
The first number is the base which is how light or dark it is 2 being black, 10 being lightest blonde. The number after the point . is the tone. The numbers 4, 5 and 6 are all red tones so a hair dye with these numbers id perfect.
If your hair lifted upto the orangey shade i mentioned then you dont need to pre-pigment it, the warmth is still there, go straight in with your brown
Hope this helps! If in doubt have it done by a professional!

I would go and ask a proper hairdresser for some advice, especially if you are going to do it yourself.
Alot of bleaching and colouring might dry your hair out and damage it. I would definately seek proper advice.

theres not really away to bleach it a funny blonde inless u keep the bleach inlonger than it says to.then that will dye it to almost a strawberry blondeish orange. and then u can dye ur hair pink. and ofcourse u can dye ur hair to its naturall color after. and dont worry after awhile ur hair will grow out anyways and ull getthat naturall look back

You can rebleach your hair after the pink starts to fade out, but this can be VERY damaging to the already damaged hair. You can also go back to the brown that it was before, which will likely be the least damaging option.

Instead of totally bleaching it; Just dye it blonde, that'll come out :)

See a professional or at least someone with a license in cosmetology/hair, etc. You don't want the look to get messed up by going it alone! They can fix you right up:)

I know exactly what your trying to do. DO NOT BLEACH YOUR HAIR. I have learned from the disasterous experiment, you are only stripping your hair of it's oils and going PINK is easy without the bleach. If you want to go pink without damaging your hair you need to get a hair lightener and let it slowly work so your not stripping the hair in 5 seconds. Bleach is that evil. Then, dye over the orange, YES , because it's half the damage, and you get the same results!

Bleaching It Blonde To Go Pink?
bleaching totally strips the pigmnt out of your hair it will ruin it
i would try to find another way to go pink
Bleaching It Blonde To Go Pink?
i bleach mine to have pink in it,the pink fades quite quickly so im having to redo the pink every 2/3 weeks,i only have to re bleach my roots though every few month so my hairs not to bad,as the pink fades it does go a gingery blondie colour, but if you get fed up and then want to go back brown then this is fine youl probably just have a lighter colour over the bleachd bits.

you must realize that once you bleach out the hair that you got rid of all the pigmentation and you can only grow the blonde out with many many haircuts in between beforeyou get your natural color back...you can color you hair back to lite br..but you must make sure you strip the pink out and possible use a filler before going back to brown...do not use a ash/brown or your hair will have a green hue to it....i would highly suggest to go to a hairstylist to avoid any disappointments you may have doing this at home.....good luck

what i'm hearing you ask is if, when you bleach it and the pink color fades, can you color it back to it's original color.?
if you have dark hair you have to take out some of the natural color for the pink to show up. you are correct so far.
once the color fades you can either do it pink again or another color. you can also color it back to almost the original color, but if you use a permanent color it will color the root to ends of the hair and you will end up with roots again.
i wouldn't suggest bleaching out the whole head, though. ONLY pieces (like colored hilites). this way you can use a demi or semi permanent color once they have faded and you are over it.
did i answer your question or was i wrong in hearing what you are asking?
have a great day, dear.

I used to dye my hair on a regular basis, it has been every colour imaginable, including pink. Pink dye will adhere better to a lighter colour, so you probably would need to bleach it if it is dark now. Be warned though, bleaching it will dry it out, so be very careful what products you use on it. I used to put a hair mask on mine about every 6-8 weeks just to keep it in condition.
The other thing you should be wary of, if you mess about with your hair a lot, and then become pregnant it could fall out. Mine did! I had to have it cut really short to stop it coming out. Now I'm very wary of what I do with it. To be honest I have found that the colour that suits you the most is the one you're born with.
