Infected ingrown hair??

Hi, I have had this weird bump/lump around the bikini line area. Sort of in the crease where your undies sit near your leg. it is a lump that I managed to squeeze a couple of months ago thinking it was just a pimple, or an ingrown hair. I squeezed it and got alot of clear, pink fliud out of it. The lump went down but not is back again and really sore. It is quite hard but feels as though there is fliud as well. This time I cant pop it. It is so sore and a bit worried. Do you think it is just an ingrown hair that has got infected? I know it isnt anything like an STD...I know this for sure! A bit worried it is a tuma or cancer but honestly just feel it is an infected hair as i occationally shave this area.

Any ideas...?

It may be a boil of some kind, sometimes when a sensitive area is rubbed (like ur undies) it creates friction and thus a boil forms, I have had these before, I put some tea tree oil on it and it was gone almost overnight, next time try not to pop it, it's prone to infection!

more than likely it is an ingrown hair and the problem could probably be corrected by pulling the hair out with a pair of sterilized tweezers..

I used to get cysts in that area and would have them surgically removed (mine were from clogged oil glands and he called them sebaceous cysts) but first I had to get the infection cleared up.

Try using hot compresses; it helps relieve the pain.

If it doesn't go away or keeps coming back, I'd suggest seeing a doctor.

You shouldn't have popped it. It sounded like an ingrown hair to start with, but who knows? If it was me I'd go and have it checked by a doctor.
