Well the Chi itself is an absolutely amazing straightening iron. I have super curly hair, and this iron gets my hair stick straight without causing crazy damage. Hot pink is always in with girls, so that's why they're going crazy over them!

Because its pink and very girly girl. Its no different than the regular Chi. They just like the color - same with the blue one.

It claims to keep hair to remain silky and shiny after numerous use. It can't be that much healthy for your hair. Heat will eventually dry out your hair, but I guess with this tool it makes 'Ceramic heat that insure deep penetration of silk proteins.'

Because their marketing strategy was " It does not damage hair" and people believed them! Truth is they are lying. My roommate own a chi and her hair is pretty damaged by using chi.

Just because its expensive doesn't mean it will be exactly what they say it is. We need to use our brain sometimes. Heat damages hair always. Enough said.
