It'll be really expensive at a salon because it's a double process. It's pretty easy to do by yourself especially if there is two of you. First you need to bleach out your tips. Get some bleach powder available at your local beauty supply store and developer. you should only need 30 volume. For pink dye I reccomend Punky Colors Flamingo pink or Special Effects Cupcake or atomic Pink. That's assuming you want neonish. Those two are fantastic brands. DO NOT USE RAW!!!! It's horrible. Manic Panic never comes out right and stains your hands. I've been every color of the rainbow and then some. So don't leave the bleach on for more then 30 minutes. wash it out don't condition. put the pink in leave it on for 30 minutes if you use heat the color grabs better. wash it out. and then you have pink hair. When bleaching your just going to go straight across your back in a line. Put a towel wherever your hair will hit duh its bleach.

It wil be more than 30 bucks at MOST salons, but NOT beauty schools. The good thing about beauty schools is that those students are usually edgier than the stylists spread all around the town, so they probably know JUST WHAT YOU WANT and need.

Since this is a double process color as well as a technical one, it will, without a doubt, cost you more than 30 bucks. Trying to do it yourself and having it last more than 3 minutes, would be a mistake.

Save your money up and go to a salon when you have it.

that's an awesome idea!!!!if you want it to be permanent you can go to a salon and get it done i have no clue how much it will be!!if you don't want it to be permanent get a conair thingamiger !!you can click in the color you want put your hair in and click the button!!it looks so totally hot!!and it washes out!!good luck

honestly,

i doubt it costs more than $30 to do it at a decent salon.

but, if you do want to try it at home for about $10 or less....

then go to Sally Beauty Supply (walgreens, or cvs.)

and look for a temporary hair product in pink. follow the mixing instructions and only apply it to the tips.

or... go to hot topic and ask for Manic Panic in pink. It is a hair dye product that they carry it costs a little over $10 or so and the color is very vibrant and isn't permanent.

i tried to dye my hair too. but it was man expensive. it is $65 n it'll last only 3 or 4 months. for temperary, it's $25 but it won't last long. so what's the point dyeing in the salon? u can dye at home but .. not good. it'll last only little. so that's ur choice. u can go to any pharmacy to buy it. which is like $ 10. good luck! u two'll look pretty after u finished dyeing.
