Pink high lights?

hey. my hair is a light brown right now, and i wanted to dye it a dark, dark brown with a few pink high lights throughout it. i'm having trouble finding pink hair dye to high light it with though. any suggestions? thanks.

try going to any beauty supply store that's not a chain. i found that the locally owned beauty supply shops tend to carry a better assortment of funky colors. sally beauty might have some stuff, and i know hot topic used to carry dye. mommy2be huh? did your doc tell you not to dye your hair yet? if not, they probably will. no one really knows what kind of effect hair dye will have on a fetus so they usually don't recommned pregnant ladies to dye their hair. but you do what you want, i'm not lecturing, just lettin ya know.

edit: i'm sorry to hear your loss, that really sucks. i'm a mom, can't imagine how that would hurt.

well i just went to walmart and bought some that stays in for like a ffew weeks and just put it at the ends of my hair then when it came out i bought i again and redid it it looked really good to

You are going to have to bleach out the strands you want to highlight pink first. ---I think I'd go to a Salon for this, could be tricky !

Sally Beauty Supply, Hot Topic, and pretty much any "hippie" type "head" shop where they sell "smoke accessories will have dye like that.

my suggestion would be to NOT put pink highlights in your hair.

hopefully your under 25.....if not, you've past pink highlights. But, you can find pink at most beauty supply stores. If you haven't done your own highlights before, I'd suggest having it done professionally.

Go to the beauty supply store. They should have pink, but you will have to bleach the sections you want to color pink and then color them. And, unless you are lucky, the pink color will not be permanent...so you will probably have to re color often.

pink is a tough color to maintain in your hair. I've used manic panic and also the stuff from hot topic. the problem is that pink doesn'e last that long and then you just end up with blonde streaks in your hair and have to dye every 2 weeks or so.

How about a light orched, pink is nice but, if you can't find it...

...how about seeing if you can buy it from a beauty store, they should have all colors, and if not they may be able to order it for you.
